reSTART

Laptop and desktop PCs starting at $195 for Canadian residents receiving social assistance.

The reSTART program finds new life for used computers donated by Canadian companies. These computers are refurbished and made available at low cost to residents of Canada who receive social assistance or qualify as having low income.

reSTART computers help people across Canada to access health care, gain education, find jobs, and even start small businesses.

In the last 5 years alone, reBOOT Canada has provided more than 6,000 computers to families and individuals across all provinces and territories.

Any Canadian resident who receives financial social assistance from a national, provincial, or regional support program is eligible to purchase a computer through reSTART. Your caseworker may be able to help with the cost of purchasing a reSTART computer. Please contact your caseworker for more information. If your caseworker has questions, please ask them to email restart@rebootcanada.ca.

Social workers and agency staff often purchase reSTART computers for their clients who qualify for the program. Parents, other relatives, or even friends can also purchase reSTART computers for a qualifying person.

The reSTART computers provided by reBOOT Canada have been refurbished. The computers may show signs of wear, but they have been tested and should provide years of trouble-free service.

All reSTART computers come with a 90-day hardware warranty. All sales are final for computers provided through the reSTART program.
