The safety of our staff, volunteers, donors, clients and program participants is of primary importance.
Further to our statement March 24, and announcement of closure of non-essential services by the Government of Ontario yesterday, please read below of an update on current reBOOT Canada availability and operations:
Our Toronto location (Evergreen Brick Works, 550 Bayview Avenue) is closed to the public and was originally scheduled to reopen on March 30th. At this time for the safety of our staff the location will continue to be closed until further notice. We are accessible by phone between 10 am and 4pm Monday to Friday for any inquiries.
Our Peterborough office remains open under reduced hours and social distancing protocols in order to serve other essential services and continuity of our programs.
Our reSTART and reSOURCE programs remain active. Applications from www.rebootcanada.ca/restart continue to be monitored and processed, with fulfillment by appointment or arrangements can be made to ship directly as a reduced rate. Non-profit organizations wishing to obtain computers through the reSOURCE program can also take advantage of the reduced shipping rates.
We will not be accepting any donation drop offs at any of our locations until further notice.
Please note that all administrative functions at reBOOT Canada will continue without interruption during regular business hours for the time being.
reBOOT Canada’s core funding comes from the donation of retired IT Assets and the operation of our computer sales and service social enterprise. While residential pick-ups are still suspended indefinitely, we are equipped to proceed with institutional and corporate donors in sectors deemed essential. To schedule planned pick ups on a case by case basis please complete the form at rebootcanada.ca/donate or email pickup@rebootcanada.ca. We appreciate your continued support and are currently ready to assist if and as required.
