The team at reBOOT Canada see the computer as an invaluable tool. This technology has become indispensable in our daily lives. It helps users access information, do work, engage in learning, and stay connected. Of course, computers are also used for fun, anything from Minesweeper to multiplayer games provide hours of pleasure and relaxation. Computer games are fun because they allow us to experience new worlds and satisfy our yearning for achievement and recognition.
Over the years, we have upgraded many graphics workstations and turned them into solid gaming computers at a fraction of the price that you would normally pay for a new unit. It may not have the flashy lights or the fancy case of a gaming rig, but it will give you plenty of computing power for everyday tasks. For some enthusiasts, the computer itself is the primary source of entertainment. It provides them immense satisfaction building a machine from parts and assembling it into the PC of their dreams. Sometimes, we celebrate our appreciation of PCs on Valentine’s Day with the slogan, “I ❤ Computers”.
We also enjoy helping others find the love in working with computers. reBOOT Canada helped a group of Thunder Bay youths destroy some computers and then put them back together again.
