reBOOT Canada is proud of our newest initiative, the Youth Tool Kit (YTK). Provided in partnership with the First Nations and Inuit Youth Employment Strategy (FNIYES), the Youth Tool Kit program provides Aboriginal youth with practical work skills, acquired from a unique (non-profit) perspective.
Reporting to reBOOT Canada, Youth Tool Kit candidates learn computer service and repair, customer service, leadership, business management, and more. While working in an active storefront, they acquire real-world insights and experience, using best-practice initiatives, to deliver premium service. Throughout their 4-6 week experience, YTK members can be proud knowing that their efforts; whether processing a donation, refurbishing a reSTART computer, or sanitizing a hard drive, directly supports reBOOT operations across the country.
At the end of their training, Youth Tool Kit members leave the program with the expertise, equipment, and support they need, to repair anyone’s computer with confidence.
If you, or someone you know, is interested in learning more about joining the Youth Tool Kit team, we want to hear from you. Reach out to us at www.rebootcanada.ca/youth-tool-kit, today!
