Peterborough Cares is an annual initiative that invites local charities to build awareness through concurrent fundraising activities. Over this past Victoria Day weekend, the seventh intonation of Peterborough Cares found multi-charity efforts taking place at simultaneous events occurring throughout the city.
We are pleased to note that one such enterprise, a performance by local classic rock band House Brand, featured the likes of reBOOT’s very own Lars Verholt on lead-guitar! Lars stole away from his usual duties of managing the reBOOT Canada Peterborough branch (251A Charlotte St), to perform with his band at the Mark’s Work Warehouse Plaza (1135 Lansdowne St W), on Friday evening.
A big thank you to all those who came by to take in the show, and for showing your continued support to the worthwhile cause that is Peterborough Cares. We hope to see you again next year!
