Today is World Environment Day, and this year’s events coincide with host-country Canada’s 150th birthday celebrations.
Even before establishing Lake Louise as Canada’s first National Park (1885), successive governments have worked to implement sustainability measures intended to manage the Canadian environment, and economy, more responsibly. Canadians are proud of the identity they derived from their rich natural heritage, and are ready to share that with the world.
