Please Note
If you’re a commercial donor in the Greater Toronto or Vancouver areas with a large quantity of items to donate, our staff can arrange to have a truck pick items up at your location. Pickup fees may apply.
If you have ordered certificates of secure destruction for storage devices included in your donation, certificates will be provided to you via email once secure destruction has taken place, and payment has been received.
A tax-deductible receipt for the fair market value of your donation will be emailed to you within 90 days of our receiving your equipment.
How to Donate
Step 1 – Prepare your items for donation
DATA BACKUP
Back up all of your personal data before donating any item. Any data contained on donated items is securely destroyed when we receive the device. Files cannot be recovered after our secure erase process.
CERTIFICATES OF SECURE DESTRUCTION
If you require a certificate of secure destruction for auditing or liability purposes, please make sure that you indicate this while filling out the donation form. Please note that a certification charge of $12 (taxes included) applies for each drive. Special pricing may apply for batches of greater than 10 drives. UNLOCK ALL APPLE DEVICES
Please reset your device and remove your iCloud account(s) before donating. This applies to all MacBooks/iPads/iPhones. An iCloud locked Apple device cannot be refurbished and can only be recycled.
UNLOCKING OTHER SMARTPHONES & TABLETS
Please remove passcode and reset device prior to donation whenever possible.
BIOS & PHYSICAL LOCKS
Please ensure that any other types of locks (BIOS firmware passwords, physical locks that prevent access inside a computer case, etc.) are removed prior to donation.
CABLES & ACCESSORIES
Please include all chargers, adapter cables, and any required accessories originally sold with each device.
IF YOU REMOVED YOUR HARD DRIVE
Please provide the original drive cage or mounting rails when donating the computer.
Step 2 – Fill Out the Form Below
Our staff will respond by email, providing guidance tailored to the contents of your donation.
20 or fewer items, none of which are oversized: You will receive a link to our appointment reservation system, where you can reserve your drop-off appointment at our nearest location. Appointments are available during these time slots:

More than 20 items, or any oversized items: You will receive a Lot ID number, and directions for dropping off your items at our partner depots in either Surrey, BC or Brampton, ON.
COMMERCIAL DONATIONS REQUIRING PICKUP: We will contact you to arrange pickup. Minimum service fee for pickup at commercial locations is $100.00+tax within the Greater Toronto or Greater Vancouver Areas. Pickup fees may be waived for larger donations.
