Your support of reBOOT Canada in the form of donations of used electronics helps members of our community develop skills, increase their economic opportunities and stay connected to family and friends. Since 1995, your donations have helped us dispense over 2,000 laptops and desktops to individuals and important organizations such as Thrive Child and Youth Trauma Services, Weston Frontlines and Rise Asset Development.
In order to build on our charitable activity - and reach even more people in need - effective December 1, 2015, we will require a $50 fee (plus HST) for residential pick ups and $100 fee (plus HST) for small business and corporate donation pick-ups. Also please note disposal fees may also apply for items included in pick ups not suitable for refurbishment or donation. Some examples include non-functioning UPS, batteries, CRT monitors, medical equipment and light bulbs.
You may continue to drop off donations Monday to Friday from 930 am to 4 00 pm at our warehouse at 2450 Lawrence Avenue East Unit 1 (between Kennedy and Midland) at no charge. We may be adding drop off locations in the future, please check our website for updates in that regard.
As a prior donor and in recognition of your generosity, these fees will be waived for you until January 1 2016. You are invited to take advantage of the free* pick up service until then, subject to restrictions.
